Girls’ Generation member Sunny revealed to be leaving her MBC radio show “FM Date.”

The Girls’ Generation member is said to be leaving her spot as a radio DJ after a year and a half due to her busy schedules with the girl group.

MBC reveals, Sunny is leaving ‘FM Date,’ her last broadcast would be on November 15.”

Sunny’s management agency, SM Entertainment reveals, “Sunny is leaving her MBC Radio FM4U ‘FM Date.’ Girl’s Generation would be going on a concert tour starting in Korea. It would then be followed by a Japanese tour as well as an Asian tour. She would be incredibly busy which is why she has decided to leave the radio show.”

Since May of last year, Sunny has been loved by many radio listeners because of her bright and fresh style of DJ-ing.

Many of her radio listeners are sad to see her go but wished her good luck on her future solo activities and as a member of Girls’ Generation.

Sunny’s group, Girls’ Generation on the other hand, has been active with their Korean releases this year. They released the single “Party” in July as well as “Lion Heart” and “You Think” in August of this year.

Meanwhile, MBC is still in discussion regarding who would replace Sunny.
