“Unpretty Rapstar 2” contestant Gilme revealed to be hospitalized due to stress-induced enteritis.
Gilme is currently participating in “Unpretty Rapstar 2” along with other female rappers including, SISTAR’s Hyorin, Wonder Girls’ Yubin, Fiestar’s Yezi, Heize, Kasper, KittyB, Ahn Soo Min, Moon Suah, Ash-B and Truedy.
In the first episode of the Mnet survival female rap battle show, viewers were complaining by saying that the rapper had been a victim of poor editing. Gilme was given only 10 minutes of screen time and looked tired and exhausted.
Although the female rapper has admitted herself that she had weak stamina, the viewers still voiced out their opinions and concerns in the said episode claiming that it involved unfavorable editing.
It seems that first broadcast of the show have played a role in Gilme’s current health condition.
An entertainment insider reveals, “Gilme received medical examination in a hospital in Yeoido because of her poor health condition. She had blood test, x-rays and as diagnosed of stress-induced enteritis.”
Her agency then released a statement regarding the female rapper’s condition, saying, “Gilme has made a lot of effort in preparing for ‘Unpretty Rapstar 2’ and it seemed that her exhaustion had accumulated.”
“She would remain hospitalized in order for her to be able to recover her health until the next filming of ‘Unpretty Rapstar 2’ on September 14,” they added.
Meanwhile, “Unpretty Rapstar 2” airs every Friday at Mnet on 11:00 pm KST.
