Former members of the now disbanded group A-Prince to make their debut with MAP6.
The new boy group of DreamT Entertainment, the management agency of Girl’s Day, has recently gained attention after the fans have noted familiar faces.
MAP6 is made up of members Minhyuk, J.Jun, Sun, J.Vin and Sign. The first four members are former members of A-Prince which made their debut in 2011 under the label Excellent Entertainment. The group was originally known as Taken, and made their debut with “Only You.” Following their member and label changes, the group re-debuted as A-Prince in 2012 under the label New Planet Entertainment.
Member Sign was then added to the group as a vocalist to complete their line-up as MAP6.
MAP6’s management company reveals, “They promoted as A-Prince for 15 months, after that, they joined Dream T Entertainment. Thanks to their training, they have done a complete 180 degree transformation from A-Prince to their new debut as MAP6. It would be great if you would all look forward to their debut.”
The group’s name draws its inspiration of wanting to traverse the five oceans and the six continents with their talents and music.
The group has made their debut in November 10 with their debut track, “Storm.” Moreover, they would be having a debut showcase at the same day at the Mecenatpolis Lotte Card Art Center in Hapjeong-dong, Seoul at 2 p.m. KST.
