FNC Entertainment addresses the issue of popular comedian Yoo Jae Suk having an impersonator on Facebook.

Recently, Facebook posts, photos and updates were uploaded by a netizen while pretending to be Yoo Jae Suk.

However, following an investigation, the Facebook account was revealed to be created by an imposter instead. Following the revelation, the page was deleted quickly and have become inaccessible.

In regards to the issue, Yoo Jae Suk’s management agency FNC Entertainment warned his fans against the fake account and made it clear that the comedian does not manage a Facebook account by himself.

FNC Entertainment also reveals through Korean media outlet My Daily, “The account in question is fake and not managed by Yoo Jae Suk himself. We are going to discuss whether this is a big issue to report.”

Moreover, the management agency also posted a notice through its official Facebook account saying, “Hello. This is FNC Entertainment. Recently, we have found that there is a fake Facebook account impersonating Yoo Jae Suk. We would like to inform you that the official Facebook account of Yoo Jae Seok is FNC official Facebook, and that all of the other accounts are not Yoo Jae Suk’s official account. Thank you.”

Meanwhile, Yoo Jae Suk is not the first celebrity to have an impostor on social media sites as fake accounts have become a trend among cyber criminals doing illegal business such as profiles being sold for profit.
