Ballad duo Davichi talks about their secret to working together for over ten years.
On the recent broadcast of ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,’ Davichi appeared as a special guest where they talked about their music and working relationship.
MC Yoo Hee Yeol asked them as to what they think about when they lock their eyes while singing, Kang Min Kyung then answered, “Our songs tend to have a lot of high notes. Finishing up a song feels just like overcoming a struggle. Whenever we look into each other’s eyes, I think to myself, ‘Unni, it’s over.’”
They were then asked if there was a time when the duo almost disbanded considering that they have worked together for more than 10 years, including the time they spent during their training. Both members reveal that they haven’t.
Kang Min Kyung then shared, “Our personalities are very different that we tend to complement each other.”
Lee Hae Ri also added, “However, we do share one characteristic, and that is that we do not hold any grudge.”
Yoo Hee Yeol then asked them, “What would you like to take from the other person, if possible?” Lee Hae Ri then answered, “Age” and “Becoming paler as she drinks.” While Kang Min Kyung answered, “Legs.”
Meanwhile, the musical duo made their debut back in February of 2008 with the song, “I Hate You, I Love You.” They have recently made their comeback with the mini-album, “50 x Half” with the lead tracks, “Beside Me” and “Love is to Give.”
