Representatives of Brown Eyed Girls clarified the rumors of the group’s disbandment.
Korean media outlet Sports World has released an exclusive report stating that Brown Eyed Girls are preparing for their process of disbandment.
The media outlet cites that Brown Eyed Girls member Ga In has already left the group’s agency Nega Networks in order to focus on her solo career under A POP Entertainment (Mystic Entertainment).

Meanwhile, the other members Miryo, Jea and Narsha would also leave the group as their contracts with the agency have already expired.
The report also stated that currently, Nega Networks has been experiencing extreme financial difficulties, which is why the girl group could not release an album.
It was also mentioned in the report that Ga In’s current agency A POP Entertainment has tried to recruit the three other members in order for them to be able to continue their group activities, however, the plan did not carry through as the other members had different opinions.
Following the news regarding the said disbandment of the group, officials from Nega Networks, agency of Brown Eyed Girls, have denied the rumors of disbandment and have revealed, “The rumors of the disbandment of Brown Eyed Girls are not true. Currently, the girls are preparing for a new album which is set to be released this year.”
Brown Eyed Girls debuted in 2006 and were known for their songs, “Abracadabra” and “Sixth Sense”. Their recent album “BLACK BOX” was released in July 2013.
