Home » Kim Sejeong reveals her plans for the future and solo debut

gugudan and I.O.I member Kim Sejeong talks about her plans for the future and her solo release in a recent interview.

On the last episode of “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,” the rookie idol revealed how she got the title for her solo track, “Flower Road.” She shared, “My fans first said the phrase to me, ‘We will make sure that you will only walk on flower roads from now on.’ Then, I said it to my mother and brother. The idea of ‘flower roads’ came from my fans, not mine.”

Kim Sejeong then joked, “Now that I think about it, it is a bit cheesy.”

When asked about her plans for the future, the gugudan member revealed, “I am someone who likes to have dreams. Right now, I have three goals. First is to set up a live music café in the future. The second goal is to become a triple threat in terms of acting, singing and variety shows in three years. My last goal is to buy two houses in Jeju Island that have gardens.”

“My mother and I will live in one house, and we will make the other one look beautiful and rent it out to other people,” she added.

Kim Sejeong then joked, “So, basically, I want to be able to make money.”

Meanwhile, the rookie idol has recently made her solo debut on November 23, 2016, with the single, “Flower Road” produced by Block B leader Zico.
