Rapper and “Show Me the Money 5” competitor, Xitsuh, responds to reports that he would be joining YG Entertainment.
Recently, the rapper has addressed the news that he would be joining the management label, YG Entertainment. He reveals, “I have not discussed a contract in detail with YG Entertainment. I have not also talked about a contract with YG either. I think that these rumors got distorted.”
Xitsuh also goes to explain, “Last year, I got contacted by Kush when I was still on ‘Show Me the Money 4.’ I was grateful to him when he said that he likes my music and hopes to work with me in the future. After that, we met for a few times and worked on some songs.”
The rapper also adds, “But, Kush got busier than I thought he would be. I heard about him establishing YG’s sub-label THE BLACK LABEL. Also, he was busy working on songs for BIGBANG, Zion.T and the other artists of the agency.”
Xitsuh also reveals, “We were able to contact often because of ‘Show Me the Money 5.’ However, I do not think that a special collaboration or a contract signing would happen right now.”
He also adds, “I also do not think that I would sign a contract with an agency and promote immediately right now. I might sign a contract later on, but not at the moment.”
Meanwhile, the rapper is known for placing 6th on the Mnet rap battle show, “Show Me the Money 5.”
