Home » TWICE’s Jungyeon suffers from a leg injury during “Law of the Jungle” filming

TWICE member Jungyeon has been revealed to have suffered a leg injury while filming for the SBS survival show “Law of the Jungle in New Caledonia.”

A representative of her management agency, JYP Entertainment reveals, “She hurt her leg while filming for ‘Law of the Jungle in New Caledonia.’ Jungyeon said that she wanted to continue shooting as long as it would not put a strain on her leg injury, but the production staff of the program and the agency suggested that she return since her quick recovery is the top priority. Jungyeon will soon return to Korea and receive treatment for her injury.”

With regards to the extent of Jungyeon’s leg injury, the representative reveals, “Although it is not serious, we have determined that it would be best and important for her to return to Korea for a quick recovery instead of continuing the filming in New Caledonia.”

Meanwhile, aside from Jungyeon, other cast members of “Laws of the Jungle in New Caledonia” include Kim Byung Man, Girls’ Generation’s Yuri, ASTRO’s Eunwoo, Kim Young Kwang, Yoon Park, Joon ParkDavid Lee McInnis, Heo Kyung Hwan and Hong Seok Cheon. The first episode of this season is set to air in July following the show’s Papua New Guniea series.

The TWICE member made her trip to New Caledonia following the end of the group’s promotions for their comeback song “Cheer Up.”
